Hi there! I’m Taylor Raine, and my work is rooted in the belief that the most beautiful spaces are those that tell your story. Since 2017, I’ve been a freelance AutoCAD Designer partnered with talented contractors and interior designers across my home state of California, specializing in translating those warm, inspired concepts into buildable plans.

My personal aesthetic is driven by the outdoors and the simple, authentic beauty of travel. Exploring the vast landscapes of US National Parks and finding hidden small-town gems taught me the value of history, natural materials, and abundant light. This guides my design philosophy: spaces should be timeless, highly functional, and feel like a curated retreat. I focus on welcoming elements like natural woods and organic tones, using bright natural light and soft mood lighting to create comfort rather than relying on harsh overhead fixtures.
My journey began with a foundation in Fine Arts (degrees from Brooks Institute and the San Francisco University of Art), giving me a disciplined eye for composition and clutter-free design. This unique blend of art and architecture allows me to approach every project—from small remodels to expansive custom homes—with both creativity and technical accuracy.

I value connection above all else, which is why contractors trust me to step in for crucial "clean-up" work when previous design contracts haven't met expectations. When I’m not solving those complex puzzles, I’m home in San Diego—a place I’ve been fortunate to know my whole life—spending time with my family (who double as my project consultants!) and working side-by-side with my dog.

I look forward to helping you translate your unique vision into a home that feels perfectly, authentically you.
